[svlug] Core3 locks up on Scroll-Lock (older Proliant 1850 box)

Thanks to everybody who helped me here! I found the problem:
The boot params in grub.conf looked like this:
        kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667smp ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 ide=nodma ide0=dma 

I added "nousb nofirewire apm=off pcmcia=off" at the end and that fixed the problem.
Now Scroll-Lock behaves normally.

I found this after I tried booting the rescue CD and finding that Scroll-Lock works. Those parameters are the ones I usually use
when booting from CD.
I use them in the kickstart script as well, but for some reason the installer only takes over the ide parameters into the grub.conf
and ignores the others...

I'm not sure which of those 4 additional parameters fixed it. I could try one by one but I lost enough time already...
