More hrm...

I cut out the middleman by using netcat to connect directly to the

    cat galeon.ps | nc printer 9100

... which *still* produces the same "PC LOAD LEGAL" message.

I'm suspecting Galeon and/or its / GNOME's postscript drivers.



1.  The netcat is my printer spool.
    I shall not be in queue.
    nc makes me link in direct postscript.
    nc leads me to the queue's ip
    nc restoreth my job
    nc guides me in nets of rightousness
    for nc's name's sake...
