[svlug] color printing with pixma ip2000

in kaNOTix 2005.03, i set up a canon 7100foomatic800
driver then selected letter size and 3 color and cyan,
magenta, yellow to finally get good enough color print
at 300dpi. Didn't get a good gray. My duron suffered
many thermal shutdowns, some after i put 2 extra fans
and blew air from my air cleaners high setting into
the case.
