To the best of my limited understanding, all Firefox/Mozilla extensions
are interpreted XUL-script applications.  For better or worse,
Galeon was deliberately designed to avoid the software infrastructure in
Mozilla's XPFE code required to support the XUL Runtime Environment
(XRE) -- substituting instead a theoretically simpler and faster,
Galeon-specific GTK+ -based front-end.

So, if you like XUL, Galeon's omission of XRE support is a bug; if not,
it's a feature.
