[svlug] bin files

I have been working with linux for about 3 years and finally found a machine
to use with it. I am setting up the machine to listen to my Radio show on
the internet.

 

I have Linux Redhat 9.0. I downloaded real player for my Linux box. I read
the instructions how to install Realplayer 

 

The file name RealPlayer10GOLD.bin

 

It told me to chmod a+w RealPlayer10GOLD.bin I did that

 Then it told me to ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin 

 

What am I doing wrong?
