Here are the meeting minutes from the tonight's Hacking Society.
To give some context, we publish these so people see what we're working on,
and so if something looks interesting to you, you can inquire about it, and
maybe join the hacker working on it at the next meeting!
We had a lot of new faces at Hacking Society this week and from the looks
of it, people got at lot of interesting work done. Also, for the first
time, we hung out on #svlug during the HackSoc, chattin'!
Josh Aas worked on the Cairo Quartz backend.
http://cairographics.org
Andrew Chant worked on CXXLIB (http://individual.utoronto.ca/chant/cxxlib)
Peter Kellner saw what Paul was doing and worked on getting Subversion
working on his virtual host. Didn't have as much luck.
Bill Kendrick worked on his new game, Teeter Torture!
Ian Kluft worked on his Slauth perl module (www.slauth.org) and wrote some
captions for pictures from the Stratofox trip to Black Rock a couple of
weekends ago.
Alex Polvi worked on getting Postfix installed for about 35 domains.
Paul Querna added some FAQs/documetation for Apache 2.1 and debugged a
crash in mod_mbox.
J. Paul Reed worked on converting his life from CVS to Subversion; was
mostly successful after asking the-other-Paul lots of questions; then
worked on his pet project GRAFD, the Google-Rendered Airport/Facilities
Directory.
We're considering meeting a new place next month, so if you have
suggestions of locations that are a) open late, b) somewhat quiet
("coffeehouse quiet") and c) have free whee-fi, then please send a message
to volunteers at svlug.org.
Thanks, and hope to see all you hackers next month!
Later,
Paul
