pretty much any major distro would work (and probably lot of not so
major ones), live CDs are pretty good as far has time to setup goes so I
guess knoppix or mepis would be good options (you can install them to HD
too)
then again if you already know Xandros it might be a good option too
(apt-get install few packages shouldn't be that much of a problem)
