Hi Skip. My fav. (other's MMV,) is Knoppix. Live CD is available off
of http://www.knoppix.net, use the "knoppix-installer" command off of
the live boot to install it to HD. Has
KDE/Mozilla/Firebird/Thunderbird/Apache, etc.

I like it because if it blows up, (it never has, but I like to extort
my OSs,) its never more than 14 min. away from a virgin install on a
cold HD.

Just IMHO ...
