[svlug] running many remote desktop connections

Hi everybody,
I'd like for my students to be able to use a VNC viewer on their
machines to access an account that I have created for them on a FC3
machine. The idea is to get them familiarized with a Linux desktop and
show them some of the GUI based tools available.
While I have used VNC before, I am a bit stumped this time. I'd like for
them to connect to their VNC session without having to get into their
shell and typing 'vncserver'. The other problem is the part that comes
after the : while specifying the address. Is there a way around that?
Can they simply specify their login and password and get in...sorta like
Remote Desktop'ing on Windows, since that's what they are used to. It is
also a management nightmare if I have to keep track of who has what
session. We are talking about 120 students here.
