Well once my ancestors spread Latin in Europe we think we bought
everywhere enough culture they couldn't go further ;)
Moving from Rome to London and then I guess to Bay Area "doubt" got a
negative connotation.

Unfortunately I made this error so many times and there is such a
strong overlap between "dubbio" and "doubt" that I think I'll err some
more time before getting it right 9 out of 10.

Fortunately in this circumstance the result was just funny.
I'll try to avoid this error in the future, but it will be a
challenging task. Thanks for the correction.
