A colleague of mine is writing a magazine article on the biggest
problems in Linux system administration.  He's looking for real-life
examples of people managing Linux systems in an SMB environment that
can publicly share information on problems.

Right now, he's identified these five areas as potential challenges:

(1) Disaster recovery; 
(2) Version control and conflicts; 
(3) Patch management and deployment;
(4) Mass updates of application and OS; 
(5) Custom application deployment and package manager integration
