[svlug] open source streaming solution needed

Hi,

I am working on an remote education program which is built on top of
open source projects. The program can do live streaming as well as on
demand, audio/video/slides, etc. I am responsible to select streaming
technology.

My question is that:

Which open source streaming project is better, such as features,
documents, community support, easiness to integate as well as license
restriction, etc.

There are Apple's Darwin, Real's Helix, and others (less features
compared with the two mentioned). Looks like Helix is the only
end-to-end solution.
