[svlug] ftp'ing to my workstation

Hey all,

Much to my embarrassment, my problem 
connecting to my workstation via ftp was 
because ftpd was not installed in /usr/sbin.

Well, it was there, but called in.ftp. I just 
renamed it and ftp works fine now.

Why would it come like that? Security measure 
for newbies like me?
