Hi all,
I am getting an error trying to do an apt-get
install on a couple of packages I want get
and don't understand why. It recommends doing
an apt-get update, which also gets the same
error.
The error is:
W: Couldn't stat source package list
http://http.us.debian.org
dists/stable-updates/ Packages
(/var/lib/apt/lists/http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable-updates_Packages)
- stat (2 No such file or directory)
And yes,
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable-updates_Packages
does not exist, but where should it come from?
The contents of that directory are:
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_contrib_binary-i386_Packages
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_contrib_binary-i386_Release
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Packages
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Release
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_non-free_binary-i386_Packages
http.us.debian.org_debian_dists_stable_non-free_binary-i386_Release
lock
partial
Suggestions?
Thanks!
