The main problem - it's at Frys. I got burned years ago, and I'll likely
never shop there again.

Secondly, my guess is that most people don't get those rebates, and
their offering should be made illegal.

Maxtor's have been good for me. (My current one though is an IBM 30 gig
drive, in service since October 2000.) I've heard horror stories about
Western Digital, enough to dissuade me from trying them.
