[svlug] PPC Linux

Hello everyone,
 
I am a new addition to the list, but I have been using linux for about 4
years now.  I recently purchased 15" powerbook last week and was trying to
decide what flavor of linux would be best to put on it.
 
I am not a fan of the OS X gui, I know that sounds odd considering how much
praise it gets from everybody.  But for my tastes its just too simple, and
does not have enough configurability.
 
I use Gentoo on all my x86 boxes, and also have Gentoo going on a UltraSparc
box as a web/mail server.  I am very familiar with gentoo, but I would like
to avoid all the compling that is involved with a Gentoo install, so I just
wanted to get some opinions on PPC Linux distros.
