Aside from trimming the quote...
I use SquirrelMail at home and on my unix mail at work (outside of Lotus Notes.)
http://www.squirrelmail.org/
I find it quick and lite. None of the heavy graphics oriented HTML and it uses
IMAP for the backend. This allows me to run any IMAP server/mailbox format
I choose. (Currently CourierIMAP using the Maildir format.) Also, I can
seperate my webserver from my mailserver.
Openwebmail is designed to deal with mbox format folders directly. While their
design is quick for non-heavily used inboxes, it drops all of its index DB
files and rescans/re-indexes the entire mbox file, every time it changes.
Now, granted I don't think there is really any other way to deal with the mbox
format, which is why I like to be able to choose different formats.
