Sigh. This is always what happens when someone starts an on-list
e-mail formatting nit-picking session. It isn't worth it.

I took it off-line with the originator of the side show and even that
didn't go well. So we're not going to solve it here in public. Just
read what the folks are saying and forget about trying to make everyone
format it the same. Anyone who wants formatting to be perfect should
go define an XML extension for what they want.

It isn't going to help if everyone starts throwing mud at someone who
has a mailer that isn't just like their own and doesn't write mails
just like their own. We are free to choose. It works best if we're
strictest on ourselves but go easy on others.

(Gratutious spellling and grammar error added to make this a bigger
target. :-)

Anyway, the weekend's coming up. I hope everyone enjoys the wonderful
weather now that the rainy season seems to be over. (For those of you
watching us from the East Coast who are shoveling snow, we've had
temperatures in the 80's for 2 weeks over here. :-)

I have things to do, like replace my TV that went out with a loud pop
and some smoke on Tuesday. And some work in the yard. And some code
to write. And hosting a pizza social get-together. And some Stratofox
trips to plan. Lots to do... I might not have time to drop by the
SVLUG Installfest, but Brian and the other volunteers have that well
under control. But when I get chances to check the list, I know there
will be some messages I'll make time for and some I won't...
