maybe use "firefox remote" -- more info may be had for "mozilla remote"
(or netscape)

My guess is you could create a wrapper program which is set in your
browser preferences, then on mailto click, the wrapper grokes the
parameters an invokes a browser window with a functional yahoo cgi (try
copying a link from within yahoo). It might be easier to submit a form
as if it was from a yahoo page, but I don't know if you can pass the To
address that way (err, almost the same thing).
