There are many reasons, not the least of which is preventing the
customers from blowing themselves up by doing something "clever" that
we want to prevent the customer from reverse engineering the
executable and getting source code.  

How easy is it to decompile Java code? Can something be done to
prevent that?

I've found something worse than oldies station that play the music I used to
