The September 2004 issue of "Consumer Reports" has several articles on consumer
computers.  They never mention Linux.  They give users the impression that the
only choices for a computer operating system are Macintosh and Microsoft
Windows.

They say that high school and college students will probably need a full version
of Microsoft Office -- never mentioning Open Office.

No matter what combination of ignorance, stupidity and corruption is operating
here, they are serving neither their readers nor the industry well.
