If you would like to use shell program on Linux box, putty would be a 
good candidate. I'm using Teraterm with TTSSH extension, 
http://www.zip.com.au/~roca/ttssh.html

If you would like to use scp to copy/move stuff between Linux and 
Windows, try WinSCP. http://winscp.sourceforge.net/eng/

I'm also using PortForwarder for tunneling,
