I just did a
make dep; make; make modules; make modules_install
and I'm still not getting any sound. I ran plaympeg and got a single
click out of my speaker. Here are the results of running some
exploratory commands:
[root at big4est root]# tail /var/log/messages

=====================
When I try to google on sound-service all I get is a bunch of people
asking why they get messages that their system can't find
sound-service-0-3, but I can't find any answers.

I've found something worse than oldies station that play the music I used to
listen to. Oldies stations that play the "new" music I used to complain about.
