[svlug] too many users in a group

Hi folks,

I've seen this server (Red Hat 8) that has quite a few users, most belonging
to one particular group. The useradd command began failing, saying the group
was unknown. I deduced the line in /etc/group for this group was too long.
Further investigation supports the idea.

Anybody have any ideas about this?
