[svlug] ghostscript dictstackoverflow error

Hey guys, anyone have problems with gs?
When I try to use gs (GNU Ghostscript 7.05 (2002-04-22)) on Redhat 8 (linux 
2.4.18-14) to adjoin 498 pdf files into a single pdf file it works fine.
However, when i try to make a pdf from 500 pdf files i get the following 
error:
