There is one down-side about using raid though. I don't know a easy way
to make-a-backup-image/restore a raid partition since tools like ghost
doesn't seem to support raid partition (ext2/3 only).  So this becomes
a draw-back for me when come to the system upgrade time.  That is the
main reason I was thinking about getting rid of raid.

Anyone has any recommendation of how to do backup for raid?
