[svlug] powerbook 3400

I just barely managed to install yellow dog linux on my powerbook 3400 
today. The problem is the disk is only 1.5 gig and the installer keeps 
running out of disk space (no surprise there) or getting "transaction 
errors" whenever I try to install anything other than a console-only 
version. I do however have a 20gig disk I could replace it with but after 
reading the (amazingly complicated) instructions for swapping a hd in a 
powerbook I decided I'm not up to the task. Is there anyone going to the 
next installfest with experience replacing disks in the 3400 who would be 
willing to help me out? Or is the operation perilious enough that I'd be 
best served going to a commercial establishment who would take 
responsibility if something horrible goes wrong?
