Everyone knows the policies of this list.  If they don't, there's a link
at the bottom of this and every post pointing to where they should go to
find the policies. 

If the policies are extended, an announcement would be enough to let
people know they have to adapt.

As you know, Don, there is a very firm policy that says all posts should
be of interest to the Linux community (not the mailing list policy
community).  I find absolutely nothing interesting in all this policy
debate.  It's all noise.  I say, leave it to the officers.

OK, I'll change to a Friday-Drew-has-a-beer-policy.  Mmmmm.
