It isn't odd at all that there's no jobs list. Moderation, reviews or any
other form of enforcement takes volunteers. There are no volunteers (yet).
So until there are, that's the simple answer why there is no jobs list.

I'm trying to make this incredibly obvious... The existing volunteers are
not willing to accept the task of maintaining a jobs list. There is no
effective argument against this except to volunteer yourself. Anyone?
If not, then the point is moot.

I don't want to sound insensitive. It's been frustrating watching many
friends looking for work, and there's nothing I can do since my employer
hasn't been hiring for over 2 years. But I can't fault any of the current
set of volunteers for staying within what they deem to be sustainable
amounts of work. So this offer seems to be the best thing to do.

Except that so far no one is volunteering. To any leader of any volunteer
organization, the decision is a no-brainer. With no new volunteers, we
simply can't commit to the new activity. It's really up to any potential
new volunteers to decide if you want to make it happen.

Or more specifically, it's up to you.
