[svlug] how to make an xwindows window bigger

Im busy setting up this demo running on linux and one off the apps we
are showing is using very small icons.  Too small to really see..  Of
course I can lower the screen resolution but then all the apps will show
bigger, what i really want is to blow up only the window displayed by
this app.  Any tips on this?

Maybe a little xwindows cmd that will start the app and make the
generated window larger by passing everything to a magnifying "glass"
routine.  I dont have time to change the app and the app is written in
java so it wont listen to normal xwindow resources.  maybe run it tru
VNC somehow?
