for Directfit. We are an IT recruiting firm and I am looking for linux build
engineers. What is your policy on posting job descriptions on your site? 

Job Title:
Linux Software Engineer
Job Description:
Candidate will create builds and images for the desktop, make modifications
and write new drivers for a custom version of Redhat Linux. This also
includes customer support and linux (redhat) system administration. The
modifications will require the building of or modifying RPM's and
verification of the kernel images. When software is modified or changed,
there will be some requirements for documentation. The Linux images will be
installed on laptops, desktop PC and servers. The support requires new
drivers, kernel changes, documentation, RPM packages built or modified, etc.
They also require installation and customer support. Customer support can be
minor sys admin issues or taking down requirements to modify the Linux
kernel and then delivering.

Required Skills:
C and C++ programming, advanced to expert experience. 
Linux and Linux Kernal develper/programming experience 3 years minimum
Build and image experience required
Networking Experience, PC Hardware Integration Experience 
Desktop configuration experience
Linux Systems Administration Experience Heavy focus on Linux systems
administration, maintenance, back-up and recovery, exp with kickstart tools
administration.

It's a 6month to hire contract. Pay is $37.00 per hour.  Client is in San
Jose.
