(Marc, I can vouch for him -- he's smart and polite enough not to
do it again.)

Dear SVLUGgers,

This message is being sent of my own volition, without me being
compelled to do so by anyone.

I did send a job posting to SVLUG without checking it with the
officers. This action was in violation of the SVLUG rules, of
which I was not aware and consequently did not read. While I am
not a recruiter nor an employer, it is concievable that a larger
volume of traffic of this nature could make the mailing less less
valuable. I apologize for this violation of the SVLUG rules and
would discourage others from posting job offers without checking
with the SVLUG officers. I would encourage the SVLUG officers to
make the mailing list rules more visible to minimize unintentional
transgressions such as my own.

I do not, however, apoligize for my 1337-sp33k. :) There is always
time for 1337.
