Greg, I don't know about the SL-5600, since I haven't had one to touch. But 
the SL-5500 is pretty nice. I certainly can't see *upgrading*, since there's 
nothing I do on it that needs more speed. It plays music well, and that's 
about the most taxing thing I do with it. 

If anything, I think that the external speaker and mic of the 5600 might make 
more of a difference depending on your usage. The SL-5500's are available for 
a song, though.

I'm happy with mine, as I never quite was, with the Agenda...
