Hello JC,
Actually, I am aware of the filtering mechanism at slashdot. It's just that
even the filtered content is noise by my definition. There are numerous high
quality technical email lists that I would like to subscribe to, but there
is just not enough time in the day. So, a source like slashdot just doesn't
make the grade in my scheme of things. Others may love it, it's OK. It's
just not my cup of tea. (It's been years since I have gone there, so maybe
it's changed...)
