for all of you latest=greatest people, please remember that RHL are
famous for releasing horrible X.0 releases. you have been warned.

furthermore, is it really still necessary to get all the ISOs? is it
still not possible to install it all off an FTP directly or something?
I walk around with a bizcard 50-meg image of Debian Woody installation
starter in my pocket.

I wonder when will other distributors get some sense to start using
smart tools like Jigdo. people downloading rsync temp files... sheesh :)

In microsoft, a known bug one month before the release will get fixed
one month after the release. this is a linux distro, and the
"complexity" of changing one package on the ISO is minimal. if they
DON'T include that fix, they have a lot of explaining to do (and in a
sane world, a lot of lost customers to morn).

but as I said above, don't run any servers on it for a month or two, see
what all the X.0 quirks are first.
