[svlug] File Server...

Hello all. I am planning to purchase a GNU/Linux (mainly to share files) server for a friend's company. I was doing some research on the net but almost all the sites I browsed just provide the RedHat and SuSE distributions on their servers. I want run Debian but at the same time make sure that Xcompany will provide support in case I am not available. Also it would be better if Xcompany would be in the bay area. Any recommendations?
