[svlug] Changing registrars

At several of the IHOP dinners over the past year or two, I have
engaged in a debate with SVLUG members about the evils (or lack
thereof) of Network Solutions.

I have discovered today that it is no longer possible to register a
domain there using my browser of choice (Mozilla 1.0), and I'm tired
of paying so much for the domains.

I just registered a couple of domains with joker.com as a test.  If
this turns out to be as advertised, I think I'll want to switch them
all over.  But what is the procedure for doing it?  I've never tried
to transfer a domain from one registrar to another, as I've always
used Network Solutions / Verisign until now.
