[svlug] i845 Graphics Controller now has 3D OpenGL drivers

I just checked out Xi Graphics yesterday and found that they have just 
released the Summit 2.2 kernel which includes the full range of 
accleration features for the subject card.  On my Dell Dimension 4500S I 
have downloaded the Summit 2.2 Demo and found that tuxracer runs 
9500/7500 faster on the subject card compared to my old P3 with a 
Voodoo3 3500.  I have opted to purchase the $119 license from Xi 
Graphics and will be pleased to have  nicely functioning linux systems 
(Slackware 8.1 and Redhat 7.3 - multi-partitions) that use a USB cd-rw, 
uses the onboard i8xx sound card no problems (kernel 2.4.19), and plays 
DVDs no problems with ogle.  Does anyone else use Xi Graphics?
