I might be mistaken but MS agent is most likely undercover reporting tool
that sends everything about your computer and your habits using it to MS 
for analysis.
  
If all goes well, according to their plans, they'll sell this idea to JD
in [Ee]xchange for lenient outcome in antitrust case.

Linux being open source is not hiding anything therefore does not have 
agents.
