[svlug] How to image a disk?

Hello Everyone,

Please point me to some reasources that deal with imaging a disk.  If I 
skrew up the disk and can no longer boot I would like to put the image 
that I previously created back on the disk.  I would like to completely 
wipe out the disk or partition that I am replacing.

I hate to admit that I use Windows but there are greater evils... well 
anyway, I currently use Norton GHOST to image my drive to a network drive.
