I just saw a report that, unlike many parts of the country where there
is a surplus of blood and no immediate need for donors (but stay tuned
to reports from local blood banks), there is an urgent need for type-O
blood in New Jersey.  If any of you have contacts there, please
encourage them to contact their local blood bank immediate and arrange
for a donation.
