I only know of two "Real PCI Modems(tm)"s , one is produced by IBM and
the other by Actiontec. They both use the Venus chipset from Lucent.
There is/was a problem with the 2.4 kernel, don't recall what it was. It
works fairly well with the 2.2 kernel, execpt it MUST have it's own irq.
Bad things happen(R) otherwise.
