Short answer: Yes.

	This is the default behaviour of Cyrus.  You mentioned your
user.erik, and if you think about it, this makes sense.  user.erik is INBOX,
so anything else would inherently be UNDER inbox.  user.erik.Sent, for
example.  (Would be INBOX.sent)

	However, there are patches to do various sorts of interesting things
with cyrus, iirc, one of them will do what you desire.  I suggest checking
the mailling list archives.  (CMU actually has them up on an IMAP server!)
(I might have some older ones locally too, would have to check..)

:inconvenient since I cannot make netscape use Sent/Trash/etc. under
:INBOX to store sent/delete/etc. mail.

	From others experience, I'm fairly certain Netscape/other MUAs (eg
Outlook) WILL/can use the INBOX.<folder> for all such purposes as you
mention.  HTH!
