Larry,
Did you do a:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
This is a useful iptables firewall/Nat script that is easy
to use and modify:
http://monmotha.mplug.org/firewall/firewall/2.3/rc.firewall-2.3.8-pre1
With the default RH 7.1 kernel you can chose between iptables and
ipchains, default is the last one. I like iptables better.
