Ugh.... really?

Seems rather (silly,crazy,insane,stupid){rand} to add another layer 
of complexity to the issue unnecessarily, especially since there 
plenty of systems in the world that don't WANT an MTA listening on 
ANY port, and just have queue-runners clearing out the queues....

Heads on pikes, I tell ya, for that design. ;-)
