[svlug] Request for help with a Sparq 1GB external disk

A friend of mine has a Sparq 1 GB external drive with Parallel 
Port interface which has recently given up it's ghost. We have
a Sparq 1 Gb disk with data on it that we are desperate to 
retrieve. 

If anyone has access to a Sparq 1 GB drive which we could use
to retrieve the data (e.g. to CD or FTP out), please do reply to
