	lint was (IIRC) a utility that DEC came up with. Originally for
	FORTRAN if I'm not entirely out to lunch.
	In any case its been around for a while and there seem to be a
	number of versions available under various titles.
	I expect that like "refrigerator" it has now passed into the language
	as a generic word rather than a reference to a specific product.
