Did anyone catch Silicon Summit II on MSNBC?  Steve Balmer was "Big
Brother" only visible on a large screen above and to the center of the
rest of the on-set panel.  They had a head and shoulders shot of him,
so he was about 40x bigger than everyone else.  All in all, it was a
sad representation of hi-tech corp. leadership - or perhaps a fair
representation of rather sad leadership.

I loved watching Balmer plead w/ AOL to open up their messenger
protocol.  Then Brokaw (or whoever was ring leader of that circus)
commented that it seemed odd to hear such a statement from MicroSoft.

Enlightening...um, no, just Act II of the first comic tragedy for the
"realTV" age.
