I don't blame you at all on that front.  I have definitely blown a LOT of
time in the last six months trying to spot another plateau of stability
to use for creating a new base installation image.

...now if Gnome will just settle down and stop exhibiting different bugs
based on the day of the week you boot your machine and the phase of the
moon at compile time, I'll be a happy man.  :)
