Hello,
I stopped at Fry's with a friend who works with rackmounts a lot. She
said the 1u at Fry's was very poor quality and commented on the same sharp
edges you did. She said that she doubted if it was even FCC compliant.
For rackmounts, I would order them from a case manufacturer directly
rather thank Fry's.
